As part of the Food Safety team, you will be supporting the business to effectively manage operational food safety and hygiene requirements.
Your Role:
Developing the food safety programme
- Support to deliver a cost-effective programme that mitigates risk
- Provide support to develop policies and procedures that align to, and support operational ways of working
- Assist in data analysis to support in the creation of meaningful awareness campaigns and leadership programme insights
Business partnering
- Work collaboratively and cross-functionally to effectively manage risk and implement cost-effective operational solutions
- Support business partners by providing clear guidance to support the business to deliver new projects
Liaising with third parties
- Communicating and working collaboratively with external agencies
- Support operational teams to respond to regulatory contact in a timely and professional manner
- Support in the day-to-day management of third-party suppliers
About You
- You will have a strong retail and / or distribution background and experience
- You will be able to engage with business partners and work effectively and collaboratively across different teams
- You will be able to deliver at pace in a complex and ever-changing business environment
- You will lead by example and do the right thing whilst being open, honest, and accessible
- You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ideally you will hold, or be actively working towards, membership of an appropriate professional body
