Job Summary: The Tiles Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all tiles produced or received by the company meet the required quality standards. They are responsible for inspecting, testing, and analyzing the quality of the tiles, identifying defects or deviations from specifications, and taking corrective actions to improve the quality of the tiles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspection and testing of tiles to ensure that they meet the required quality standards.
- Analyze data and test results to identify trends, deviations, and potential problems with the tiles.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistent and reliable quality of the tiles.
- Provide feedback to production staff on areas for improvement in the manufacturing process to ensure that quality standards are maintained.
- Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including reports, test results, and quality control procedures.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to the quality of tiles, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, regulations, and legislation.
- Work with suppliers to ensure that raw materials and components used in the manufacturing process meet the required quality standards.
- Train production staff on quality control procedures and ensure that they understand and comply with quality standards.
