Sr. Facilities Maintenance Technician

To provide electrical and mechanical services for the equipment in Carlsbad Manufacturing. This may include installation, servicing and preventative maintenance. This role will be responsible for equipment across a variety of departments with varying functions.
Essential Functions:
- Perform equipment and facility installations and repairs as needed by customers or determined through routine audits
- Provide immediate response ! to business critical repairs.
- Perform repairs and tro! uble shooting. including but not limited to, custom automation equipment, filling machines, Fermentors, electrical, refrigeration, welding and light construction, Mechanical parts, ultrasonic machines.
- Work with various departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Complete preventative maintenance on equipment as established in department procedures and audits, and required by regulatory agencies.
- Order and maintain inventory of spare parts, consumables and change tooling equipment.
- Perform manufacturing equipment tooling set-ups and changes, and equipment cleaning.
- Provide backup to other mechanics on the team.
- Able to work indipendencly.
Complying with all company safety regulations and procedures and report non-compliance.
Serving as an effective safety steward by ensuring accurate reporting of near misses, attending and facilitating safety trainings and MSDS
Operatin! g a safe work environment through continuous safety awareness and full compliance to all EH&S programs and activities.
Minimum Qualifications (must have)
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical certification in more than one relevant mechanical and/or electrical trade preferred.

Demonstrates a sense of urgency, contagious optimism and a “can do†attitude Is curious, inquisitive, innovative , never satisfied with the status quo
