Silverado is presently seeking an Evening / Weekend Receptionist to join our Memory Care Community team. Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent required.
Experience: One year of experience working with the public via telephone and in person. Typing 50 words per minute, managing records/files, computing time cards, proficient computer skills, primarily in Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent communication skills.
Other: Ability to read, write and speak English. Must be comfortable working in an environment with pets and assisting in the care of community pets, including, but not limited to, dogs, cats, and birds. Willing to demonstrate passio! n and ability to work with people with Alzheimer’s disease a! nd other dementia-related disease. Summary of Major Functions: Greets guests and provides for entrance to and exit from the Community. Answers telephones and directs calls appropriately. Directs visitors to the appropriate rooms or offices. Assists with clerical duties as assigned. This is a Part-time position that is scheduled evening / weekends.
