Information Assurance Engineer

TASC is seeking an Information Assurance (IA) Engineer . The qualified applicant will be a key member of TASC's GPS SE&I team. This position will be located in El Segundo, California. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review certification and accreditation packages for compliance with DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP)
• Design security architectures and define security requirements and interface specifications in accordance with IA guidelines
• Develop and implement security designs for new or existing network system(s); ensures that the design of hardware, operating systems, and software applications adequately address IA security requirements

• Assess the effectiveness of information protection employ! ed
• Provide engineering support to security and certification tests as well as evaluation activities

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
• Current US Secret security clearance
• 10+ years of DoD security architecture, policy, and engineering experience i.e. DIACAP
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification

Preferred Experience:

• MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
• Understanding of DoD GPS software engineering and development processes
