Position Title: Computer Networking and Information Technology Instructor (Temporary, Part-Time Pool)

Job Type: Faculty - Part-Time Pool

Examples of Duties:
1. Teach subject matter of the classes assigned by the Computer Networking and Information Technology Department. Anticipated areas of need at the present time are: Computer Hardware and Technical Support, Networking Technologies and Operating Systems (Cisco, Microsoft Windows), Web Development and Administration, Network Security, General Internet and Microcomputer Applications.(See Application Procedure #1). 2. Teach day, evening, and/or Saturday classes or classes at one or more sites as required. 3. Evaluate student performance and progress through in-class observation, assignments, and tests and examinations. 4. Create lesson plans to reflect approved Depa! rtmental course outlines and descriptions. 5. May participate ! in instructionally-related and departmental activities including, but not limited to, curriculum development, selection of appropriate instructional materials, and revision of instructional and testing materials as required. 6. May participate in departmental functions, such as staff meetings, committee work, faculty evaluations, and others. 7. Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
