3M Unitek is looking for an experienced Field Sales Representative to cover the Inland Empire area in CA and the Las Vegas, NV area.

This Sales Rep will call on the end-user orthodontists - we do not work through distributors. This is a highly relationship-oriented business, so excellent interpersonal skills are required. Position requires a self-motivated, highly organized and responsible individual with good computer skills. The territory consists of the Inland Empire region of Southern CA extending up to the Las Vegas, NV region. The representative will also be responsible for working with orthodontic residents during their schooling.

The Orthodontic Sales Repr! esentative will be responsible for but not limited to the foll! owing specific duties:

• Achieve specific sales objectives by providing sales coverage within the Inland Empire/Vegas territory.
• Must be effective and influential with customers and their staffs
• Exceed expectations in sales, group presentation, communication, technical ability, organization, computer aptitude, and territory and time management
• Ability to be self-motivated with high energy
• Ability to grow territory sales
• Interact regularly with orthodontic professionals to meet sales forecast
• Performs independent sales work with minimal supervision, dealing with issues as they arise and making necessary adjustments
• 50% travel with at least 25% overnight stays will be required for this position.
• Occasional weekend events such as education seminars, industry trade shows etc are expected in this role.

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for e! mployment visa status (e.g., H1B status) employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university is required
• Minimum of three (3) or more years of sales experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Orthodontic or Dental sales is preferred
• Ability to travel 50% to 75% of the time
• Comfort level with technical information
• Ability to speak and teach in front of large groups
• Preferred specialty in scientific/medical/dental field as these are technical products and the customers are technical professionals
• Proven sales ability is preferred, along with a track record of achieving/exceeding annual forecasts.
• Three years combined experience in using advanced territory management skills, including analytics, strategic planning, prioritization and tactical execution
