Telecare's La Casa PHF (Psychiatric Health Facility) is an inpatient Program that provides acute psychiatric treatment to adults in Los Angeles county.
POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Rehabilitation Activity Leader provides direct and indirect services to both individuals and groups of clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School graduation or a G.E.D. equivalent, California Drivers License and insurability are also required
- AA Degree in a related field is preferred
- One year of direct service experience in a mental health setting is required
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Experience working with severely and persistently mentally ill adults is preferred
- Necessary skills include the ability to communicate well and knowledge of psychiatric treatment modalities
- Strong communication skills (written/oral)
- Applicant must be fingerprinted and receive clearance from Criminal Justice Department
