Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Service Analyst, Supply Chain.

In this role, the successful candidate leads the quick coordination of solutions to unexpected potential service disruptions. Collaborates with Supply Chain teams and suppliers to determine options/recommendations when there is an unexpected spike in demand or shortfall in supply that was not on the Demand Planner's radar. This is a solution oriented role and will be involved with various projects to improve the process of the Supply Chain team. Oversees proper communication when substitute products are used. Understand when to escalate issues.
Job Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for multiple teams as they work through potential unexpected service disruptions. Responsible for working with suppliers to gather all necessary information regarding the issue and identify solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Execute special projects as needed. Able to flex with the needs of the business and able to jump in to support various departments as needed.
- Gather service data from a variety of sources and compile into service reports that show our service metrics over time, and highlight areas of opportunity. Use this data to make recommendations to upper management. Present complex data in a clear and concise way to upper management.
- Communicate when there will be a shortage / sub to the appropriate departments in a clear, effective manner. Also, communicate when we transition back to the original item and verify removal of any sub notifications.
- Ensure each department gets the information they need to execute their required tasks and that the tasks are completed. Build connections across departments to facilitate effective and efficient communication.
- Resolve issues when possible and quickly escalate when not sure of the path to take.
- Lead and influence a team of internal and external stakeholders at all levels to identify issues, address concerns, determine options, align on a go forward plan, and track accountability to ensure final resolution of product need. This includes, but is not limited to, Clinical Operations, Sourcing, Value Analysis, Data and Logistics.
- Create KPI metrics based on these suppliers and monitor product availability and fill rates. Focuses on primary distributor as well as other top suppliers.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree required with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Has a strong customer focus, a sense of urgency, and high level of accountability.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to upper management teams.
Experienced in leading projects, and a strong history of working with cross functional partners. Comfortable analyzing data and presenting findings.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with supplier/end user relations and supply chain management technologies.
History of creating and maintaining KPIs, and has experience in service tracking and forecasting.
Able to demonstrate a strong history of influencing cross-functional teams, both within supply chain, and with external partners.
Experience working in fast-paced environments, and has a proven track record of adapting to evolving business needs.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $76,721.84 - $111,168.06 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
