We are currently looking for a QA/QC Supervisor for our client's project in Odda, Norway. Start of the project is as soon as possible.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Supervision of corrective actions in collaboration with the QA/QC Manager.
- Assists the home office and/or third party auditors during quality audits at the site.
- Check subcontractor QA/QC Plans.
- Assures the compilation and maintenance of all quality related records.
- Supervision and coordination of all the quality site inspections.
- Ensure that all quality control documentation is complied and completed for as-built and hand over to client.
- Supervision of all visual inspections and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) together with the Quality Welding Inspector.
- Permanent supervision and quality assurance activities in the field.
- Coordinate all site inspections with the site subcontractors and the Discipline Supervisors.
- Assist the site QC manager in the organisation, maintenance and control of the quality system.
- Prepare non-conformance reports to the QA manager and assist in developing corrective actions
- Review work procedures and method statements for compliance with good work practices and the customers contract specializations
Requirements:
- Suitable engineering educational background
- Experience in working on the field as a Supervisor
- Good Knowledge of Quality Specifications
- Ability to organize and prioritize day-to-day activities
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent communication, listening and presentation skills
- Effective leadership and communication skills to direct and motivate team members
