Payroll/HR Administrator
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Remote
9:00am-5:00pm EST (Monday - Friday)
Option to work overtime and weekends
40 hours/week starting at $50,000-55,000 CAD annually
Insight Pest Solutions is looking for an eager and experienced Payroll/HR Administrator to join our team! As a Payroll/HR Administrator, you would be responsible for overseeing the processing of payroll company wide. In this role, individuals will have the opportunity to create an ongoing impact on company-wide financial transactions and maintain long-term relationships with our valued clients.
Position Summary - Responsibilities:
- Oversee the payroll process with other departments for the purpose of delivering accurate payroll services - this includes bi-weekly payroll for all employees, company wide
- Assess and resolve escalated payroll issues and discrepancies
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, ROE’s, terminations, and changes to pay rates
- Ensuring compliance with current government regulations.
- Working with office software, such as Gmail and Google Calendar
- Liaising with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers
- Maintain a variety of documentation used by auditors
- Other duties/assignments as directed
Qualifications - What will make you successful:
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience with payroll and accounting
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork
- Excellent computer skills (well versed in composing spreadsheets, manipulating data, and computing numbers using excel/Google Sheets)
- Experience working in an office setting, accounting, human resources or an administrative background is considered an asset but not required
