JYSK expands continuously into new countries, and we are now seeking Graduates for an internal development programme in our Purchasing department. A JYSK Purchasing Graduate must have the potential and the drive to become one of our future Category Buyers with responsibility for building and developing own product area according to assortment strategy across 28 countries.

The duration of the Graduate Programme is 2 years. You will be challenged – personally and professionally – and you will gain valuable insight into operation of purchasing processes in an international retail organisation.

Your primary tasks will be article creation, handling of master data, cooperation with suppliers and internal colleagues and specialists across Flow of Goods, Compliance & Quality, Range & Design, Sales & Expansion and Marketing. After 12 months, it is expected that you will have a co-responsibility for a given product area, to become a Category Buyer after 2 years.

We expect the right candidate to start the Graduate Programme September 1st, 2023.

  • Analysis on performance, products etc.
  • Negotiation and pricing of products

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING

We are looking for a new colleague who:

  • have a relevant educational background – e.g. a Bachelor or Master within B2B Marketing & Purchasing, Commercial and Retail Management or similar
  • interest and flair for purchase both in terms of design, quality and functionality
  • have a general flair for IT, new systems and methods
  • thrive in a dynamic environment where work must be done with a high level of detail and pace
  • strong analytical and structured approach to tasks - as well as good with numbers and data management
  • are result-oriented and follow up on tasks, stakeholders and KPI’s
  • are cooperative towards all stakeholders
  • communicate in a clear and simple way in fluent English - verbally as well as in writing
