Job Summary:
The Assistant, Enrolment/Records ensures client/student centered service while working independently and effectively as a team member performing duties to support review and updates to student accounts, student records, and registration, according to the general policies and procedures of the Registrar’s office.
Reporting to the Manager, Enrolment Services, this position is responsible for providing information on UFV programs, services, admissions and registration policies and procedures, in person, on the phone and by email; performing a wide variety of financial transactions and student record updates, producing official transcripts, and assisting with registration and enrolment to UFV.

Qualifications:
Completion of a two (2) year diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution.
Two (2) years related experience.
Knowledge of UFV and the BC post-secondary education system is an asset.
Strong prioritization, planning and organization abilities.
Demonstrated advanced analytical, critical thinking, and complex problem-solving skills.
Well-developed and demonstratable logic and reasoning skills.
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail and work with a high degree of accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Demonstrated interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in the use of relational databases and complex computer systems (Ellucian Banner preferred).
Advanced skills in the use of office productivity software.
