ABOUT THE ROLE


Currently, we are looking to strengthen our team with a passionate and dedicated QA Manager. Our product development organization is divided into cross-functional teams in Canada, Sweden, Germany and Greece, each autonomously owning and maintaining an area of the product. They work together with their product manager to define and deliver features that help our customers manage their renewable portfolio in a constantly changing and growing energy market.


As QA Manager you will lead our shared service QA-team consisting of QA Specialists in Canada, Sweden and Greece. We like to say that we do Quality Assistance, where we support, coach, train and engage with our development teams globally, empowering and helping them to take ownership over the quality of their work.
Our main mission is to ensure our organization have the right tooling, knowledge and support to enable us to build high quality products.


You will be working remotely, from home in Greece.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING


  • Lead the overall quality initiatives in our global technology organization.
  • Lead and grow the QA team towards our shared goals, enabling high quality of our products.
  • You will have managerial responsibility for the members of the QA team. This includes, for example, having regular 1:1s and follow up on everyone's growth and wellbeing at work.
  • You will also be responsible for hiring and compensation.
  • Work with the QA team to support, train, coach and help development teams across the company when it comes to quality and testing initiatives.
  • Actively work towards building a psychologically safe and inclusive workplace for everyone in your team.
  • Collaborate with other leaders in our global technology organization.
  • Develop your leadership skills through internal and external learning events.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

This also means that you are effective at managing multiple tasks of varying complexities and are driven by continuous learning and growth. Specifically, we are looking for someone with the following toolbox:


  • You have at least a few years of experience from a leadership role in an agile software company.
  • You have experience working as a QA Specialist.
  • You have a deep understanding of modern software quality assurance processes and tools.
  • You are familiar with various test automation frameworks, security-, load- and performance testing.
  • You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • You are looking for a workplace where you are encouraged to be yourself and have fun.
  • You like collaborating with amazing colleagues, in multiple countries, on building high quality products.
