Your role
This internship offers an exciting opportunity for students to dive into the field of AI-powered coding assistants and investigate their impact on software development. Through conducting surveys, experiments, and data analysis, the intern will gain valuable experience in the areas of software engineering and machine learning.
It implies the following activities:
- Define clear metrics to measure developer productivity, code quality, and time-to-market.
- Analyze the tools available on the market and research similar studies
- Conduct a survey or survey-based study of developers to gather data on their experiences and perceptions.
- Develop a controlled experiment to compare the performance of developers using AI-powered coding assistants to those who are not.
- Analyze the data collected from the survey and experiment to identify trends and patterns.
- Draw conclusions and make recommendations for future work in the field of AI-powered coding assistants based on the findings of the study.
