About the role:
- Preparation of test cases, test case execution, raising defects, updating Jira, and defect closure
- Pass log preparation and defect log preparation.
- Analyze new requirements/changes from a testing perspective.
- Regular follow-ups on issues observed.
- Execute the test plans to qualify the software, with the usage of standard tools.
Position requirements:
- Immediate joiner
- Must have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Functional Tester
- Banking or relevant finance testing experience is a plus
- Agile method experience or certification
- Familiar with quality management software and processes.
- Knowledge in system analysis and design knowledge in basic IT programming languages (background in web programming is an advantage but not required)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and organized in his/her work style
- Able to recognize risk and has the intellectual curiosity to further probe and research
- Able to work under pressure and within short time frames
