JOB TITLE: Associate Reward Director
LOCATION: Shanghai
REPORTING TO: HR Vice President
MAIN PURPOSE
Our talents are at the forefront of our business at Richemont, and Reward is one of the core pillars to ensure an effective talent strategy in the region.
To ensure success for both our business and our people, the Associate Reward Director will support the China business development and talent strategies by driving the reward practice for the China market. They will for part of a winning HR team to ensure we have an effective and attractive reward offering, whilst ensuring compliance with Group guidelines and governance, as well as relevant local mandatory requirements.
KEY RESULT AREAS AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Reward Management
- Lead, direct, evaluate and implement the development of a clearly defined reward strategy for China that is performance-oriented and in compliance with Group / Government policies to ensure that, at all times, reward constitutes a competitive advantage in terms of attracting and retaining top quality talent.
- Create new reward policies and programs in line with the Richemont / Maison Reward Strategy and audit existing reward programs to ensure legal compliance, effectiveness against indented program objectives, changing market circumstances, and overall alignment with the business vision.
Compensation & Benefits
- Drive the market Compensation & Benefits practice, in line with the Regional Compensation & Benefits policies and guidelines. Manage the people cost budgeting processes, market competitive analyses, and be responsible for the effective communication to business stakeholders in the market.
- Ensure compliance with Group policies and respective local labor legislation and customs.
- Manage the comprehensive Job evaluation & grading for the market. Partner with HR and Business stakeholders to review benchmarking and ensure correct balance between grading, internal talent and compensation vs local market.
- Management of short and long-term incentive programs. Review incentive program design in line with company's transaction growth plans.
- Partner with Regional Reward, other local COE and HR on performance management, annual compensation reviews and bonus nomination processes.
- Work with Maison C&B and HR to review and communicate incentive plans across the country & provide support to the markets when necessary in an engaging way.
- Ensure audit compliance to improve allocation quality & accuracy and recommend appropriate action
- Manage the benefits review processes and maintenance of related documentation including the respective plans and policies for China.
- Initiate, advise, co-ordinate and monitor job descriptions, role profiles, and the job ranking process to ensure an updated reflection of APAC positions’ key accountabilities.
- Support Group/APAC Reward team to analyze market data and practices, to facilitate the enhancement and design of compensation markets as well as various compensation and benefits programs in the country.
- Supervise and Monitor Mobility Programs (domestic and global).
- The team is responsible for handling members’ enrollment, termination and update of international pension and medical schemes.
- The team is responsible for preparing international assignee contracts and coordinating with the country HR team and destination services providers to ensure all the relocation arrangements are made in accordance with contractual agreement.
Payroll
- Design payroll SOP (control and monitoring)
- Ensure compliance of payroll items
- Responsible for Payroll related matters
- Handle payroll related procedures and control
- Manage service provider on Social Benefit computation and payment
- Review IIT efficiency (all employment type)
Others
- New projects development & implementation (new work time changes, creation of new premium scheme and other)
- Participate in other ad hoc HR / C&B related projects as assigned.

JOB PROFILE ( FOR RECRUITMENT PURPOSE ONLY)
1. Education : University/Master degree in business administration; professional qualification in human resources management i.e. Global Remuneration Professional is a plus
2. Experience : 10+ years in C&B, regional exposure is a plus.
3. Skills required :
Solid technical competencies in reward program design, communication and implementation
Knowledge of organisational development and change management theory and practices
Knowledge of leadership and Management theory and practices
High level of consultancy and project management skills
Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation and influencing skills as the incumbent must work with people at all organization levels
