Sidelines is looking for students who are passionate about sports to be a Campus Marketing Manager for their university. This is a position well suited to an individual looking to break into the world of internet/media startups with room for growt! h and advancement. The ideal candidate will bring energy and enthusiasm to everything they do, and will not be afraid to roll up his/her sleeves to tackle projects big and small. You will be in charge of growth of the Sidelines Community by reaching out to students who enjoy discussing sports.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Director of Marketing and establish new ways to introduce new users to our online platform
- Brainstorm and execute marketing tactics, reach out to student organizations, host contests and lead invite campaigns on campus
- Curate content relevant to your school’s fan base
- Sports fanatic with an interest in all major sports
- Background or knowledge in Business, Marketing, or Public Relations
- Excellent verbal and communications skills
- Involvement in student life and campus organizations
- Demonstrates creativity and documented! immersion in Social Media (Give links to profiles as examples! )
- Work remotely and get real-world experience with a hot startup in online sports media
- Spend your time watching, discussing and reading about sports
- Interact with smart fans all around the world and hone your writing skills
- Build your reputation in the sports world
