Los Angeles Grandpoint Bank, a leading lender located in Southern California, is seeking a New Accounts Analyst for our Downtown Los Angeles location. The primary responsibility of this position is! to provide assistance to the New Accounts Administrator in all areas related to New Accounts. Provide superior and quality service while following bank policies and procedures.Duties and Responsibilities: Provide assistance to the New Accounts Administrator in all areas related to new accounts. Potential candidate will be trained and actively involved in the daily routine.
Central Information File (CIF) review and maintenance. Assist with branch new account and follow up documentation file review. Maintain and update New Account Logs (Missing Documentation and Files). Provide new account branch support, answer questions and resolve issues while keeping the New Accounts Administrator informed and involved.
Assist New Accounts Administrator with daily duties or projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must have a minimum of two years experience in a New Accounts position in a Bank or Financial Institution. Must be familiar with set up of Cent! ral Information File (CIF), and account relationships, and und! erstand the importance of the Taxpayer Identification Number for both personal and business accounts. Must have complete and thorough knowledge of legal documentation required for different types of personal and business accounts.
Must be familiar with the process and procedure of opening business and personal accounts. Current knowledge of Compliance Regulations related to new accounts, i.e. Customer Identification Program (CIP), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Regulation DD (TISA) etc. Experience with Streamline/Jack Henry product a plus.
The ability to work independently and manage a large workflow effectively and meet the turnaround time demands of the department Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required, including proper grammar and spelling. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of clients. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
