The Event Coordinator is enthusiastic, dedicated to operating successful events and provides exceptional customer service while working in a fast-paced, high volume Marketing organization. ! This individual will assist the Events Manager to help plan, organize, and execute a wide variety of events and ensure that each customer experience is remarkable. These events include, but are not limited to tradeshows, exhibits, sponsorships, custom conferences/roundtables, regional sales events and internal corporate functions. The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience in event coordination, be extremely detail-oriented with excellent multi-tasking and communication skills, knows how to stretch a dollar and can apply creative thinking to deliver a great customer experience on any budget.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
While working with the Events Manager, this person will be coordinating with various individuals internally and externally to:
Prepare event project plans and timelines
Help brainstorm creative event experiences and premiums
Research venues
Manage vendor and association relationships
Assis! t with registrations and booking travel arrangements
! Keep track of event metrics (registration/ attendance/conversion rates)
Maintain a thorough and clean database
Manage event calendar(s)
Assist with on-site logistics: name badges, program booklets, event collateral, on-site meetings and troubleshooting
Post event evaluation (internal/external surveys)
Event contact list management
15% travel
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 1 year successful event coordination experience working in a range of events
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Working knowledge of SalesForce a plus
Experience at a experiential marketing organization a plus
Excellent project management skills
Open, warm, engaging, personable (not shy, reserved or hesitant)
Detail-oriented
Non-linear task management
Extremely proactive, intuitive (ability to anticipate needs and potential glitches)
Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills, with the ability to proactively address client's needs
A person who “gets the job done†(no attitude, no push back, and asks for direction)

Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to creatively negotiate demands
