We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Executive Director / General Manager to join our team at Atria Valley View in Walnut Creek. As General Manager of an upscale assisted living community you will have the chance to be part of one of the top performing companies in the rapid! ly growing assisted living industry. The General Manager manag! es the day to day operations, including full P & L responsibility.
- Plan, implement and evaluate all aspects of operations
- Recruit and train team members
- Supervise employees and creates/maintains a highly functioning team environment
- Has a direct supervisory responsibility for team members
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and ensures a quality-oriented workforce
- Comply with all local, state and federal regulations
- Focus on creating a safe working and living environment
Required Skills:
- Ba! chelors degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related subject
- 3-5 years experience in operations management with demonstrated success in meeting financial goals specific to retirement living, assisted living, long-term care or related fields such as hospitality
- Demonstrated success in operating and maintaining a quality, customer service-focused workforce
- Experience in recruiting and training others
- Vaild driver's license
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and have telephone accessibility 24 hours a day.
