Assist Store Manager in sales generation, operations, and human resource functions of the store to ensure maximum profitability and compliance with company procedures! , which will enable the store to meet and exceed the sales goals.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (Includes but are not limited to)
Achieves Goals: store sales, ADT, UPT, SPH, payroll, and inventory
Assist in managing the controllable expenses on store Profit and Loss Statement
Ensure the Customer Service Mission Statement is executed consistently and personally leads by example
Schedules employees in accordance with Company policies to provide excellent customer service
Analyze reports (Sell Through and Force Ranking), communicate appropriate information to business partners to maximize business opportunities and improve store profit
Effectively teaches, demonstrates and ensures all store staff complies with all Company initiatives: Training Programs, Selling Programs, Manager on Duty Program, Target Shrink Program, Payroll Procedure, Dress Code
Complies with all Company direction on merchandise pr! esentation and marketing standards
Assist in implementatio! n of Store Events
Recruit, interview and hire brand appropriate sales oriented staff
Assist in maintaining the staffing levels to Company Headcount Matrix
Assist in developing staff to ensure manpower succession
Manage staff performance: weekly force ranking of sales statistics, one on one conversations, coaching daily on performance, counseling under-performance and policy violations (with Store Manager)
Ensure accuracy of Company in store promotions and merchandise markdowns
Assists in management of inventory shipping and receiving procedures
Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization
Assist in the preparation of store, schedule, train and direct staff for store inventories
Maintain store and staff safety
Assist and attend all store meetings
Work with all associates in the store to maintain a professional and productive work environment
Adheres to all Company Policy and Procedures
Adheres to all local, sta! te and federal laws
Supervise Sales Associates assigned to the store
Professionally interacts with all levels of Management and Human Resources in the organization

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to communicate with co-workers and customers
Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation and analyze reports
Ability to perform fundamental mathematical calculations
Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area and register area
Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store
Ability to climb la! dders or stairs (depending upon store design)
Ability to move or ha! ndle merchandise and boxes throughout the store generally weighing 0 â€" 40 pounds
Ability to work varied hours and days to oversee store operations
Standing, walking, squatting the majority of the 40-hour work week

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 2 years of previous Retail Management experience (external)
Previous apparel experience required: footwear experience preferred
Minimum of 3 - 6 months as a Floor Supervisor or above experience (internal)
Proven track record of successful sales generation, clienteling, emp! loyee development & career path
Proficient computer experience with Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook
College Degree preferred
