Performs intermediate-level accounting work requiring the use of professional concepts. Works on problems of moderate scope. Exercises judgment within defi! ned procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Perform and improve on the process to reconcile financial activity and consequent transactions and the resolution of any discrepancies. Interact with other departments and vendors as necessary to resolve issues.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience required. Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in a corporate accounting/ finance environment desired. Detail oriented with reconciliation and analysis experience. Proficient in Microsoft Access and Excel. Ability to work with other departments and outside vendors. Must be a self starter who is self-motivated and self-directed in resolving any and all potential issues. Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Impulse (preferred) or similar warehouse A/P inventory system; proficiency in SAP (preferred) or similar G/L ac! counting system. Detail orientation, analytic propensity, and ! management-level summary communication skills.
Required Experience
Preparation of monthly journal entries, Warehouse inventory adjustment analysis, balance sheet account reconcilations, and improvement and implementation of accounting processes and procedures.
