The US Medical Dir! ector of AGN Medical-Plastic Surgery, resides in Global Medical Affairs and directs the development of projects and operations in the Medical Affairs Department. The Director must have advanced training and education from an accredited school; board-certification in a surgical specialty is preferred, yet not required.

Previous industry and research experience is essential to be successful in this position. Responsibilities include:

1) leading strategic scientific differentiation, development and communication plan for breast aesthetic, Seri-Scaffold platform technology, which includes concept development based on data gap analysis, data source development (planning, implementation of US phase IIIB/IV studies), and publication plan development

to support device strategic initiatives and new technologies, 2) clinical review and providing key insight to device professional medical education and communications programs for AGN Medical-Plastic Surgery,! 3) working with AGN Medical US and Global Marketing to review promotional materials and medical conference activities,

4) providing clinical interface to Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) and facilitating advocacy development,

5) initiating new strategies for differentiation and development via data gap analysis and advisory boards,

6) providing close support and advisory function to Legal, Regulatory and Clinical Development of post approved product(s), including safety profile, and assisting in response to external inquiries, 7) leading development of standard response letters, frequently asked questions, slide decks and training materials with Health Science Associate support, 8) maintaining Medical Affairs database of clinical trials on Clinical Trials.gov and assuring compliance with reporting requirements of all regulatory bodies, and 9) catalyzing the full development of the SERI-Scaffold platform-technology.

The employee must conduct the! ir work activities in compliance with all Allergan internal requirement! s and with all applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Advanced doctoral Degree required; MD with surgical qualifications preferred.

At least 8 years total Medical Affairs and Phase 4 trial experience required.

Industry experience in development of devices for use in surgery is highly desirable. Able to speak with great knowledge about breast implant devices and acellular dermal matrix products preferred.

Materials science and device engineering experience desired.
