Description
Key Role:
Support the mission of cyber readiness per DoD 8500.1, 8500.2, and 8510.01.! Provide subject matter expertise with DoD information assurance (IA) compliance assessment tools and procedures, including eEye Retina, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), and corresponding Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) technologies. Offer analysis of compliance assessment procedures and cyber readiness capabilities to provide clients with solutions for enhancing cyber awareness within their environment. Contribute to the technical implementation of solutions for promoting the sustainment of inspection-ready levels of cyber readiness across multiple technology areas. Lead the development of enhanced risk reporting capabilities through the DoD Host Based Security System (HBSS) and provide technical expertise to support implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of the McAfee ePO solution. This position is located in San Diego, CA.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: -3+ years of exper! ience with information assurance-Experience with DoD informati! on assurance (IA) tools, including eEye Retina, the DoD Host Based Security System (HBSS), and the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP)-Experience with patch management processes and solutions, including Microsoft WSUS or similar technology-Experience with Microsoft system administration in an enterprise environment, including Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies, and Visual Basic scripting-Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint-Knowledge of Ethernet networking technologies and devices and computer network defense concepts-Secret clearance required
Additional Qualifications: -Experience with the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) as defined in DoD Instruction 8510.01 desired-Experience with configuration and tuning of HBSS per DISA STIG to meet DoD implementation requirements a plus-Experience with developing custom HBSS policy auditor benchmarks and developing enhanced reporting dashboards within ! the ePO suite desired-Experience with Navy Computer Security Inspection and Compliance Program (CSICP), Stage III inspection methodologies, and Command Cyber Readiness Inspection methodologies a plus-Experience with the implementation of DoD-Compliant Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions desired-BA or BS degree in CS desired-Completion of one or more DISA training courses for HBSS preferred
