Responsibilities:
Mobile
Phone Software Debugging and Providing Software Solutions:

The Software Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and investigating issues reported from field tests, internal tests, and/or 3
rd
party test labs to provide software solutions in a timely manner
·
Maintain and update an Issue Report database per project
·
Assist and provide guidelines for Validation Team for fix verifications
·
Interact and follow up closely with Project Software Teams for escalated issues
Mobile Phone Software Development:
·
Engage and participate in Software Development Life Cycle
(
Plan, Design, Code and Test) for feature development deliverables
·
Review all feature-related documents, e.g. Standards, System Requirements.
·
Develop scripts for test tools
Qualifications:
·
Must have experiences working in Mobile Phone OEMs environments
·
Must be proficient in C, C++, Java for various Mobile Device Platforms, including Linux
·
Experiences and good knowledge in FOTA, CMAS, OMA-DM development/testing
·
Good understanding of WCDMA/CDMA Standards and protocol messages
·
Experiences in coding/testing for Spirent UTS driver development
·
Experiences in using Clearcase and Bugzilla
·
Knowledgeable in Perl Scripting skills
·
Knowledgeable in working with different chipset platforms
·
Experience in supporting Tier 1 carrier operators
(
or MVNO) in U.S./Canada
·
Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, EE, or equivalent 3-5 years of experiences in the same field
·
Candidate must be professional, accessible and flexible to the changing needs of the company, must work well in a team environment, capable of handling fast paced situations, and adapts well to change and high-pressure deadlines
·
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, quality commitment, strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to work with teams
·
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
·
Positive attitude, great work ethic, detail oriented, organized and punctual
·
Preferred Language - English.
