We are a recruiting company on a confidential retained search for SALES REPRESENTATIVE or TERRITORY ACCOUNT MANAGER type for a medical device company. We are working directly with the hiring manager and we are scheduling interviews with highly qualified medical device type candidates. This is an urgent search with a start date estimated to be within the next 3-weeks. This is a stellar opportunity with a well-known medical device company. This territory is for the West coast. It includes California, AZ, and potentially WA and OR. Candidates ideally should live in California or AZ. This is a large multi-state territory. Some overnight travel may be required to adequately cover this territory. TARGET EARNINGS FOR THIS TYPE OF POSITION IS TYPICALLY AROUND 100K+. These are field sales positions have a generous base salary. There is also a laptop, cell phone, and mileage reimbursement, or a company provided vehicle depending on size of the territory, among other perks. Typically you will be performing sales and new client development in the field on a daily basis. This will include visits to various medical offices, doctors, physicians, and other target clients. You will be working from your home office.

1. A BS degree. Ideally you will have a clinical background. 2. 3 + years medical device sales experience managing large territory that includes sales calls cardiologists, Internal Medicine doctors, clinics and hospitals, with experience selling medical devices or DME durable medical equipment, medical imaging, and or patient monitoring in a clinical setting with multiple sales presentations being performed each week. 3. Strong organizational skills and a hunter and rainmaker mentality. You MUST live within the territory. 4. Travel is a necessity of this position. You must be willing to travel, mainly within your territory. Due to this necessity, a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check MAY be completed as a contingency at time of hire, and on an annual or random basis to ensure compliance with the client's insurance carrier. Failure to maintain statutory insurance coverage, or having an adverse driving record could affect your employment status. A background check and drug testing may be required. 5. Strong sales skills, and having completed a professional sales training program, such as Strategic Selling, Miller Heiman, Spin selling, Covey, or similar.
