About the job:
Our Market Relationship team is looking for a driven, independent and ambitious Student Assistant to join them, which is part of the Trading and Treasury Department. You will be immersed in a dynamic environment where you will engage with counterparts and market data providers and stakeholders both internally and externally whilst working alongside highly passionate Saxo professionals.
We are responsible for managing Saxo Bank’s external providers, that deliver critical data, market, settlement and banking access to Saxo clients. The team currently consists of 10 employees, based in Copenhagen, London and Gurugram. In this role you will get wide and deep exposure to the full value-chain of financial markets across a variety of topics and asset classes such as equities, futures, options, bonds etc.
We offer an exciting opportunity to get to know markets, counterparts and market data from the inside through your work with a wide range of tasks.
In supporting our broad coverage, you will be interacting with colleagues in many parts of Saxo’s flat and global organization, both commercial, operational and IT teams.
We expect that you will be able to work at our Headquarter in Hellerup two or three days per week during normal office hours and 20 hours or more in total. We are of course flexible when you are off for exam periods.
You will work on specific assignments, for example:
- Project support and input
- Contract updates
- Billing and budget support
- Client data review
- Administrative tasks
- Assist the team with various day to day tasks
- Conducting analysis and reconciliation process of various data sets
As a person you are:
In the process of completing a Bachelors or Masters Degree
Detail and process oriented
Able to focus and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Enjoy working with Excel, data and Powerpoint (knowledge of Power Bi would be an additional advantage)
Enjoy dealing with multiple stakeholders and able to communicate well
English proficiency written and verbal is a must
