1. Verify authenticity of Vouchers and Checks by examining supporting documents such as purchase orders, invoices, debit and credit notes, statements, receipts, etc., in order to establish that the transactions are in order and have been properly authorized.
2. Conduct periodic physical count of supplies and fixed assets at various departments such as pharmacy, CSR, dietary, laboratory, radiology, etc.
3. Evaluate and recommend improvements to internal processes and controls.
4. Interview business units to obtain information required for auditing.
5. Notify audit issues to Management in a timely fashion.
6. Prepare reports of audit findings and recommendations to management.
7. Perform special audit as needed.
8. Evaluate internal processes and controls being implemented by various units. Recommend improvements when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent
2. At least six months work experience in a financial environment
3. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel.
4. Strong work ethic, emphasis on attention to details and problem-solving ability
5. Ability to work well under pressure and within short deadlines.
