About the team:
SAP ERP for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) is part of SAP Product Engineering and belongs to SAP Cloud ERP. It consists of two development units, who are working on SME applications and ERP for SME Platform, a COO unit, and a Product Management unit. In addition, we have centralized engineering services to harmonize processes, ensure knowledge sharing, support efficiency gains, and drive excellence.
There are over 600 employees in 11 global locations in the SAP ERP for SME organization. The Learning and Development (L&D) function is part of the Centralized Engineering Services. Therefore, the work that L&D do will reach all employees in the organization.
What you’ll do:
Position Title: SAP ERP for SME iXp Intern – Learning & Development
Location: Galway
Expected start date: 4th September 2023 – 2nd September 2024
In this role, you’ll:
As an intern, you will be an integral part of the Learning & Development (L&D) team who are responsible for planning and implementation of strategic professional development projects such as:
- Skillset / Learning Needs Analysis
- Leadership Program
- Agile and Cloud Development Curriculum
- Global Onboarding Program
- Analytics and Reporting
- Coordination of virtual enablement sessions
As we are in the early stages of setting up the Learning & Development (L&D) function within this new organization, an intern will be a key part in delivering the framework for the future.
Who you are:
We’re looking for someone who can challenge the status quo and likes to stay curious. You enjoy working on meaningful projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
- To apply for an internship, you must be a student currently enrolled in an academic institution
- An active student status during the whole internship is required
- Studying Business, Commerce, HR, Learning and Development, IT
- Open to working as part of a virtual global team
- Collaborative
- Highly organized and the ability to multi-task
- Willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm and creativity with a hands-on mentality
- Experienced in working as part of a team and work on their own initiative (Proactive)
- Working to deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (specifically Excel is an advantage)
- Reviewing and editing written material
