Marketing Coordinator (6-month contract) [Canada]


 

Overview

Precision Content Authoring Solutions is a rapidly growing software company that specializes in content management and technical writing solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our team and develop and execute marketing initiatives that will help us drive business growth and reach new customers. In this role, you will work closely with the sales and product teams to develop marketing campaigns, manage our social media presence, create content, including podcasts, that will engage and educate our target audience.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop a marketing plan as well as the annual budget to carry out the plan
  • Keep the plan on track and asses return on investment
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, social media, webinars, and advertising
  • Manage the company's social media presence, including posting updates and responding to followers
  • Create and curate content for our website, blog, and other channels that will educate and engage our target audience
  • Host podcasts and create content that will educate and engage our target audience
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop lead generation campaigns that will generate qualified leads for the company
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry influencers and partners
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and identify new opportunities for the company
  • Monitor and analyze marketing data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, such as graphic designers and printers, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Assist with event planning and execution, such as trade shows and webinars
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing or related field
  • Experience with social media management, email marketing, and advertising
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, is a plus
  • Knowledge of the content management or technical writing industry is a plus
  • Nice to have: Previous industry experience in content management or technical writing
  • Nice to have: Experience with design software such as Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
  • Nice to have: Experience hosting and creating podcasts
