This is a critical position within the Global Quality organization -- responsible for driving improvement t! owards operational excellence by leveraging Lean principles in the company’s business processes. You will partner with functional management to identify waste and problem areas, assess opportunities, and drive effective implementation of Lean improvement.
You should be an expert in Lean/Six Sigma principles and be able to apply them to a variety of business applications. These include:

• Interpretation of customer requirements
• Engineering and product architecture
• Operations and material flow
• Manufacturing engineering and test
• Field operations

You will have strong leadership and communication skills and a demonstrated passion for improvement. Teamwork, communication, project management, and the ability to develop training are other tools in your skill toolbox. The ideal candidate will have experience improving both Semiconductor Fabrication and Semiconductor Equipment operations and communicating at various leve! ls throughout the company.

Specific functional act! ivities include:

• Fact-based problem solving
• Value stream mapping
• Design of Experiments and Equipment Characterization
• Data collection and analysis
• Opportunity identification & business case proposals
• Organizing, planning, and prioritizing to meet timeline requirements
• Kaizen Event Planning and Execution

IND123 Qualifications

B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or a related technical field, MBA preferred.

Special training or courses: Lean, Six Sigma, or Toyota Production system.

Previous experience: 5 to 10 years in industrial engineering, or operations in a similar role.
