Job Responsibilities
Under the direction of the BHETA Program Coordinator the Curriculum and Training Specialist will develop training curriculum that matches the needs of BHS stakeholders. Evaluate trainer curriculum for compliance with learning objectives, coordinate, schedule and provide logistics supervision for trainings and training events; develop trainer orientation and training materials; correspondence with trainers and stakeholders. Recruitment of trainers/Curriculum developers Curriculum Review Assist with logistics, preparations and follow up for curriculum and conference meetings Coordinate scheduling and logistics for training sessions Facilitation of subject matter experts and stakeholder committees Correspondence with trainers and instructors Evaluate trainers; provide feedback as appropriate; identify trainer development opportunities, etc. Training research LMS manipulation and data entry Administrati! ve tracking and reporting Report writing Training monitoring, ! evaluation
Minimum Qualifications
Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Training, Psychology or related field and four years of progressively responsible experience in technical or administrative assignments. Additional experience may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis.

Thorough written and oral communication skills, including English grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Ability to apply independent judgment, discretion and initiative to address problems and develop solutions; Competence in understanding, interpreting, and communicating procedures, policies, information, ideas and instructions; Fluency in using standard office and training software packages for report preparation, curriculum development, prese! ntation designs, and other work products as needed. Interact effectively with co-workers. Understand and follow posted work rules and procedures Ability to relate well to others within the Academy for Professional Excellence environment. Highly motivated self-starter, with a high energy level and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Well organized, ability to meet deadlines, detail oriented; possess good judgment and common sense. Demonstrate a high level of cross-cultural sensitivity

Preferred Education/Certifications
Master's degree in Educational Technologies or a master's degree in Psychology, public mental health or clinical Social Work ADAAC CAS or CAADE Certification

Experience in planning events Experience in behavioral health training and development Experience with curriculum development Experience with San Diego County Behavioral Health
Working Conditions
This position is a 40 hour a week position, with work hours falling within regular business hours. This position requires travel to training sites Fingerprint clearance is required prior to hire.
