Administrative Assistant, Distressed Debt

Location: Los Angeles California

Based in downtown Los Angeles, the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to a few members on the Distres! sed Debt team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answering, screening and managing incoming phone calls, faxes and mail;
  • Maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, and conference calls;
  • Drafting correspondence and memos, and assisting in preparing presentations;
  • Reviewing, preparing and managing expense reports;
  • Updating, revising and reviewing the quarterly compliance reports and maintaining the signature requirements;
  • Maintaining the filing system;
  • Printing out various periodicals, articles and online journals and distributing them to the group;
  • Handling reception coverage, as needed; and
  • Performing other administrative tasks as required.
Required Skills

Required Experience
  • Bachelor s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years relevant experience, preferably in financial services;
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; and
  • Proven ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, independently determining order of priority and self initiating other value-added tasks.
Required experience: 2 - 5 years
Minimum required education: Bachelor's Degree
