Travel Logistics Coordinator
Purpose :
Manage inter-company travel logistics requirements, in! an economic, timely and accurate manner.
Reports ! to: Senior Vice President of Procurement
Responsibilities:
Evaluates Operations Schedule and determines logistical requirements for crew duty requirements (air/hotel/car).
Coordinates with Operations team to plan for high volume/profile events.
Complies with company supplier contract requirements as well as internal policies.
May assist with analysis and preparation of company metrics.
Manages block inventory (hotel rooms) and coordinates with Operations Control Center.
Interfaces with agency of record and assists with any billing, booking errors.
Assist with company group events and meetings.
Provides support for day to day logistical needs for Management/Administration.
Education, Training, Skills and Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years SABRE (Blue)/GDS Experience.
Familiarity with SABRE (Red) beneficial.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in ! a FAR Part 121, 135 or 91K Operations environment with direct responsibility for logistical management of passengers and/or employees (intercompany or external).
Knowledge of FOS (Rockwell Collins) Flight Operations system or similar software a plus.
Excellent inter-personal skills maintaining positive (internal & external) client/supplier relations.
Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential.
Above average skills with Microsoft office, specifically, Excel (charts, graphs, tables), Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Creative and innovative thinking.
Self-starter able to perform duties with limited supervision and able to cope with multiple deadlines and be able to remain calm in a stressful situation.
Excellent integrity, ethics, and values.
Shift work. Must be willing to work various shifts which will include weekends and holidays and on call as necessary.
