Position Summary:
This position is based at BCBG Headquarters in Los Angeles and reports to the Retail Operations Training Manager. This position works collaboratively with subject matter experts to write training programs to address the needs of all retail field employees in such areas as leadership development, company compliance, retail management, and similar development courses. This position independently develops content and material using current adult learning techniques and accurate sourcing of research materials.
Deliverables:
• Apply knowledge of content development to design and develop content, working collaboratively with subject matter experts, trainers, users, and others
• Leverage existing library to identify conten! t needed to create assigned training material
• Test! training materials and facilitate training courses to various skill levels
• Collect data to make recommendations, to revise and or enhance current and future projects
• Accept and solicit feedback to improve effectiveness of programs & documentation
• Utilize persuasive leadership ability to consult with subject matter experts to assist with identification of needs
• Ability to quickly learn and interpret business material, reporting tools, and unfamiliar content
• Manage project workload to meet aggressive deadlines
• Serve as a company liaison with other projects such as Mentor programs, Guest Excellence programs, and corporate communication.
• Excellent written communication and editing ability
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Commutations, Organizational Development, or related studies.
• 3-5 years’ experience in curr! iculum development and/or instructional design.
• Demonstrate project management skills to handle all aspects of complex projects
• Computer literacy and knowledge of instructional design tools and adult learning theory
• Demonstrate content development experience with emphasis in Soft Skills (i.e., Client Relations, Coaching, Conflict Management, Listening, Leadership & Development).

• Adjust language or terminology to fit characteristics and needs of the audience.
• Develop and sustain effective and cooperative working relationships with peers, managers, and other internal and external customers
