Title: HR Service Center Analyst (Call Center Rep.) Location: Alameda, CA 94502 Duration: Until 11/30/12 (May possibily be extended into January of 2013) Pay Rate: 21.53/hr
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to attend all days of the training 08/13/12-08/24/12 830-500 Monday - Friday Shift will be within the hours the center is open 7am-615pm Must be able to work any shift within this time frame Must be comfortable working in a call center environment with heavy incoming calls Can not miss any days during open enrollment period 10/29/12-11/19/12 Must have strong computer skills and excellent communication skills
Position Summary:
Handles high volume of inbound calls from employees regarding complex questions and issues related to benefits, retirement, pay, leaves of absences, disability and worker?s compensation. Creates and routes cases appropriately and in a timely fashion to resolve issues for employees. Maintains knowledge and updates to Human Resources and Client?s practices, policies and procedures.
Education/License/Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Advanced reading skills and basic math skills required.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a fast paced customer service or call center environment required. Familiarity with and ability to adhere to standard call center metrics, including Call Volume, AHT, Wrap, Schedule Adherence and attendance and punctuality General content knowledge in one of the following areas: Benefits or general HR knowledge required. Ability to prioritize, problem-solve and apply critical thinking skills required. Demonstrate ability to type at least 45 words or keystrokes per minute while interacting with customers on the telephone. Demonstrated experience navigating Windows-based Human Resources information systems required. Ability to effectively interact with all levels within an organization required. Attention to detail, accuracy and quality required. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with a customer service focus required. Ability to identify root cause and conduct analysis required. Ability to adopt new work procedures as needed and actively participate in training and quality assurance initiatives. Must adhere to Client?s confidentiality rules, requirements & guidelines. Must be able to work in a Labor / Management Partnership environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 2-5 years in Human resources preferred. Experience with PeopleSoft 9.1 preferred. Proficiency in Lotus Notes or MS Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
Duties:
Professionally, accurately and timely responds to 45-50 employee requests for assistance to moderate to complex Human Resources inquiries per day pertaining to employee benefits, retirement, pay, new hires, terminations and personal status changes according to established policies and procedures, collective bargaining agreements and laws. Documents employee interactions and retrieves employee data utilizing Windows-based Human Resources systems to confirm employee changes and obtain information requested by employees. Collaborates with Quality Assurance, Training and Team Management to modify procedures as needed Consistently supports compliance and the Principles of Responsibility (Client?s Code of Conduct) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements (if applicable), and Client?s policies and procedures.

Must be a US CITIZEN or PERMANENT RESIDENT able to work W2 to qualify - unable to sponsor Visas at this time If an offer is made, a 7 year criminal background check and 10 panel drug screen is required. Education verification will be conducted upon hire, must have a high school diploma or GED. Candidate must be able to pass all screenings to be hired.
