Effectively you will undertake the reconciliation of the Hotel’s trading, including the checking and preparation of reports and statistical information in accordance with service standards and auditing procedures during night shifts. Ensure smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's operation, maintaining maximum guest satisfaction and the safety and security of the property.
What you will be doing:
- Sole responsibility and in charge of the hotel’s operations when managers are not on site
- Leading the team
- Ensuring safety and security of guests and staff
- Auditing income and revenue reports
- Guest check in and departure
- Managing and resolving guest complaints
- Maintaining strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety
Your experience and skills include:
- Availability over a 7 day basis including weekends and public holidays
- LCQ Certificate & current GM Certificate is preferred
- A full and current NZ Driver's License with the ability to drive both Manual and Automatic cars
- 1 - 2 years experience in a management/supervisory role
- An ability to make sound decisions independently
