Job Description
The Albany Regional Airport is seeking a skilled and customer-oriented individual to fill the role of Airport Reporting Officer. Reporting to the Senior Airport Reporting Officer, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including:
- Conducting aerodrome safety inspections and reporting in accordance with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority Act and Regulations.
- Ensuring aerodrome security is maintained.
- Conducting daily fuel quality checks and refueling aircraft in accordance with established safety standards; and
- Performing airport maintenance duties related to runways, lighting, drains, wind indicators, runway strips, mowing and grounds care, basic equipment cleaning and ensuring critical safety equipment and facilities are serviceable.

- Exceptional time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in operating general equipment, handyman tools, tractors, and mowers.
In addition, the following requirements must be met:
- Qualification as an Airport Reporting Officer or a willingness to obtain this qualification.
- Ability to obtain and hold an Aviation Security Identity Card throughout the employment period.
