DUTIES: This position supports a variety of activities in several laboratory areas involved in the testing and evaluation of elect! ro-optical devices and the development of prototype electro-optical sensors. Primary duties include: Perform experimental and analytical evaluations of focal plane and other electro-optical components, systems, and concepts. Work with scientists and engineers to configure data acquisition systems for laboratory experiments. Interact with department management and staff for the planning coordination, and completion of EO laboratory tasks.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
BS Degree in electrical engineering, physical science, or equivalent required. Minimum two years of experience in optics, lasers, and related laboratory instrumentation. Must have demonstrated strong experimental skills in measurements with electro-optical detectors. Must have good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work interactively and effectively with management and laboratory staff. Must have or be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
